This handbag is a nice taupe color (I bought the one labeled "Bone") - I think it is a little darker than it appears online, but it is close enough. It has a zippered compartment on both front and back (both sides look the same). There are two zippers on top; one of the large compartments has a small pocket - the other has a good sized zipped pocket. So there is plenty of space and areas for organizing. On the side of the purse is a phone pocket with velcro closure. The leather has a nice soft texture. It seems to be a sturdy and well-made handbag. The only issue I have with it is the "adjustable" strap, which is very long. It is adjustable by a buckle that has 5 holes, but the total difference is only about 3 1/2 inches. At the shortest length the purse comes down to mid-thigh, which does not work for me. I will have to get the strap shortened, but otherwise I love the handbag.
